The HELLE Sawcab

Seemingly a simple enough device, the operator’s booth is the “nerve center” of the sawmill. With this in mind we make our booth free standing with structural tubing. The outside is spot welded 18 gauge steel. The inside is covered with Vipond insulation. Also, the front face tilts forward 20 degrees to reduce glare. Our standard model is 4 feet by 5 feet with a rear facing door. Our deluxe model has almost twice the floor area and measures 5 feet by 7 feet. It has 2 doors at the rear, one on each side.

All HELLE Sawcabs are pre-wired for lighting and outlets. A provision panel is in place for an optional air conditioner and floor mounted heater is also optional. Just to prove that we like to take care of the sawyer, we installed an overhead shelf for his radio!!
